Energy Balls

This is a great device to use when talking about making personal connections with other people. This 1.5 inch ball has two electrodes. When the electrodes are touched simultaneously, the ball lights up and makes a buzzing sound. It becomes a group activity when you have people hold hands or touch left to right finger tips while in a circle. The person initiating the activity circle, has their right finger tip on one of the electrodes and then connects the left finger tip to the person to their left. This begins the circle connection ending with the last person touching the other electrode with their finger tip and making the light up connection. This action will complete a circuit and the ball will light up and buzz as long as the people in the group continue to connect finger tips. Any break in the circuit will turn off the light and sound. It works with 2-20 people and is great for illustrating the concept of making positive connections to accomplish goals. Everyone has to work together in order to be successful. This activity is an excellent way to demonstrate this.
